I’m self-employed, am I eligible for a loan?

Unfortunately, we do not accept self-employed applicants.

In which cases can a loan be refused?

Unsteady employment, high number of short-term debt rate, incomplete form or incorrect information, undischarged bankruptcy, unsatisfactory eligibility standards and high number of payments with insufficient funds in your bank account.

If approved, how long will the funds be available?

If we receive the contract signed before 11am, the money will be deposited in your account around 6pm on the same day. If the request is accepted after 11am, funds will be deposited within 24 business hours.

I don’t have a fax, where can I find one?

Various shops have a fax service: Staples, Bureau en gros, pharmacy or photo center. If you can’t find any fax machines in your local area, we accept photos via email.

What happens if the loan is not paid?

It will be submitted to the collection department. In case of payment default, the applicable interest rate is 2.66% per month (32% per year).

Can I defer a payment on my loan?

Yes, but make sure you contact us at least 48h before the bank withdrawal from your account in order for the request to be processed in time. The missed payment will be added to the last payment of your loan. If you go through difficult financial time, it is important for you to contact us (#). There is a $40 fee for bounced cheques and $25 fee for deferred payment. If the loan is left unpaid for a prolonged period of time, your file will be transferred to a collection department.

Is the process confidential?

Yes of course! The whole process is confidential. Our staff is obligated to keep all information regarding the customer and their accounts strictly confidential. No information will be divulged to a third party.

I changed my bank account, what should I do?

You must send us a new void cheque by fax or email, and one of our agents will make the necessary changes to your banking information.
